Commandant l’Ecole de formation des sous-officiers (EFSOAAE) / Commander, Non-Commissioned Officer Training School

Le général de brigade aérienne Thierry Fluxa occupe les fonctions de commandant de l’école de formation des sous-officiers de l’armée de l’Air et de l’Espace (EFSOAAE) et de la base aérienne 721 de Rochefort depuis l’été 2024.

Après une formation d’officier mécanicien spécialiste des systèmes d’information et de communications (SIC) à l’Ecole de l’Air de Salon de Provence (1996), il œuvre tout d’abord en unité de contrôle aérien tactique à Metz. En 2006, il rejoint le domaine du Command & Control (C2) Air en tant que spécialiste de l’appui SIC et de l’Information & Knowledge Management (IKM).  

Diplômé de la 18^ème promotion de l’Ecole de guerre de 2010 à 2011, il prend le commandement du groupement de télécommunications (GT) 10.800 d’Orléans de 2011 à 2013.

Il rejoint ensuite le commandement des forces aériennes (CFA) à Bordeaux pour occuper les fonctions de chef du bureau appui à la projection SIC aéronautiques puis de chef de département organisation, projection, soutien.

Il prend le commandement de l’école d’enseignement technique de l’armée de l’Air (EETAAE) et de la base aérienne 722 de Saintes de 2018 à 2020 avant d’occuper le poste de chef du bureau recrutement (BR) de la direction des ressources humaines de l’armée de l’Air et de l’Espace (DRHAAE) jusqu’en 2023.                 

De 2023 à 2024 il occupe le poste d’adjoint au sous-directeur recrutement, réserves, jeunesse de la DRHAAE Tours.

Brigadier General Thierry Fluxa was appointed Commander of the Training School for Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) of the French Air and Space Force and Air Base 721 of Rochefort in summer 2024.

Following a Weapons Systems Engineer Officer training at the Air Academy in Salon de Provence (1996), he first served in a Tactical Air Control unit in Metz, North-East of France. In 2006, he joined the Command & Control (C2) domain as a specialist of Communication and Information Systems (CIS) Support and Information & Knowledge Management (IKM).  

A graduate from the 18^th promotion of War College (2010-2011), he took command of the Telecommunication Group 10.800 of Orléans from 2011 to 2013.

He then joined the Air Force Command in Bordeaux and took post as Chief of the Aeronautical CIS Support Office, followed by an appointment as Chief of Organisation, Protection, Support Department.

He has taken command of the Training School for Mechanic Apprentices of the French Air and Space Force and Air Base 722 of Saintes from 2018 to 2020, before being appointed Chief of the Recruiting Office of the Air and Space Force Human Resources Directorate until 2023.                 

From 2023 to 2024 he held the role of Deputy of “Recruiting, Reserves, Youth” Sub-Director of the Air and Space Force Human Resources Directorate in Tours.
