After graduating from the French Naval Academy, Laurent Bazin de Jessey joined French Naval Aviation, where during 17 years of service he gained extensive field experience supporting combat aircraft both in operational areas and at staff level. He then joined Dassault Aviation, where he has focused on the in-service support of military aircraft, both for export customers and in France, and on the transition toward contracts bringing together the industrial supply chain with strong fleet-availability performance commitments.

Today, drawing on his experience and knowledge of the industrial environment, he serves as Programme Director in charge of supporting military aircraft in service. He is particularly involved in adapting industrial capacity, including with Dassault Aviation partners, to meet the challenges of supporting aircraft currently in production (Rafale and mission Falcon aircraft) while also ensuring the long-term sustainment of older fleets such as the Mirage 2000 and ATL2.
