Gilles Gaillot, 58 years old, is Director of Support Strategy and Product Policy for Customer Support & Service (CSS) covering military aeronautics activities, on behalf of Thales DMS (Defense Mission Systems) and Thales AVS (Avionics).

Married and father of 2 children, he has an operational background in the Air force and in industry at Thales.

Graduated from the Air Force School and SUPAERO, he spent the first ten years of his military career as an officer in the field of airborne electronic warfare, participating in several military operations and major exercises.

After the War School, he directed his career in the field of support with various positions in maintenance units, in the Headquarter Staff and as director of the Atelier Industriel de l'Aéronautique d'Ambérieu in Bugey.

With this operational and industrial experience, he joined Thales group in 2017 to focus on business development before taking up his current responsibilities in 2020. He also took on the role of Key Account Manager as the Thales group’s correspondent at the DMAé in 2025.
