Director of Engineering and Infrastructure of the Spanish Aerospace Force, Full Member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Engineering, and Defense Airworthiness Council representative.

With 700 flight hours as Lead Flight Test Engineer across 30 aircraft, he has led over 100 programs in flight testing, systems integration, and airworthiness certification. His military career includes commanding the Spanish Air Force Airborne SW Laboratory, the Spanish Air Force Flight Testing Engineering Sqn., the Albacete Fighter Airplanes Air Force Depot and serving as Deputy Director of Fighter Aircraft Engineering and Remotely Piloted Systems.

He holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering (UPM) and a Staff College Degree. He is Associate Professor of Fluid Mechanics, co-directs UPM's Master’s in Flight Testing and Spanish School of Flight Testing. His accolades include the 1992 National Extraordinary Prize in Aeronautical Engineering and the 2026 Engineer of the Year Award from the Spanish College of Aeronautical Engineers.
