Born in Bessines-sur-Gartempe, Andréa Brouille began her professional career at Michelin before returning to her native Limousin in 2006. Two years later, she decided to become involved in public life in her local community and was elected Mayor of the town where she grew up.

In 2010, Jean-Paul Denanot asked her to take second place on his list for the Limousin regional elections. Following the election, she became a Regional Councillor and was appointed Vice-President of the Limousin Region in charge of Human Resources. After being re-elected Mayor of Bessines-sur-Gartempe in 2014, Andréa Brouille agreed to “take on the challenge of the regional merger” and was elected Regional Councillor of the newly created Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region. She was appointed Vice-President in charge of Finance and Budget in 2019.

For her third regional term, Andréa Brouille serves as First Vice-President, responsible for Economic Development, Innovation and supporting companies in their CSR initiatives.
