Laurent Montoya is a Senior Expert and Technology Domain Manager at Airbus Defence and Space. A graduate of Supélec, he has been with the company for thirty years, following its evolution from Matra Marconi Space to Astrium, and now Airbus. He began his career in the Space sector, gaining over ten years of experience with the Helios military Earth Observation programme, including several years at the Creil operational site during the maintenance and evolution phase. He subsequently dedicated around a decade to the European Navigation programmes Galileo and EGNOS. Currently, Laurent is part of the transverse Research, Technology, and Innovation team, where he leads the Artificial Intelligence, Computing, and Autonomy technology domain. In this role, he drives the related technology roadmaps and steers the selection and maturation of key technologies in collaboration with engineering teams to serve the company's Space, Intelligence, and Military Aircraft programmes.
