Major General Michel Rouat, a graduate of the École de l’air and ENSMA, has built a career primarily focused on the operational performance of aeronautical systems. The various positions he has held over his 40 years of service have enabled him to master all activities involved in aeronautical inservice support. As commander of the Air Brigade for Weapon Systems and Logistics, he launched the NSO 4.0 program to enhance the performance of technical units. Appointed Project Director for Operational Sustainment 4.0, he expanded this transformation across the entire French Air and Space Force. His responsibilities in inspection roles, followed by his position as deputy commander of territorial command, further strengthened his professional experience. Since 2025, he has been leveraging this expertise to support organizations through a SASU dedicated to operational excellence and aeronautical sustainment.
